Vetoing MH17 tribunal can't stop justice, - U.S. representative Power

The U.S. believes Russia's veto of the UN Security Council draft resolution for establishment of an international tribunal to investigate and identify those responsible for the Malaysia Airlines plane crash in the Donetsk region, July 2014, is obstruction of justice.
This was announced by the U.S. permanent representative to the United Nations Samantha Power during the today's Security Council meeting, Сensor.NET reports citing Ukrainski Novyny.
According to her, Russia's veto was an attempt to obstruct justice.
Power noted that despite the vote, nothing would prevent the prosecution of those responsible for the plane crash. She also claimed the families of the victims would see justice.
As previously reported, Russia vetoed establishment of an international tribunal to investigate into the MH17 flight crash.
