Next year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of Strategic Industries will increase the production of missiles, ammunition, weapons and military equipment several times. The main priority is air defense equipment.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk said this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET reports with reference to the telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense.
The main focus will be on the production of air defense systems, ranging from conventional man-portable air defense systems to air defense systems with a range of more than 100 kilometers (such as the Coral air defense system).
"In addition, the approved budget for 2024 stipulates that about 175 billion hryvnias are allocated for the purchase of missiles and ammunition so that our Defense Forces can adequately resist Russian aggression," Havryliuk said.
