Militants used prohibited weapons over past day, - HQ
The enemy continued firing at the ATO forces positions during the day. From midnight till almost 7:00 a.m., July 30, militants actively used weapons, that should be taken away from the demarcation line.
This is reported by Censor.NET citing the ATO press center. At night, the village of Starohnativka in the Mariupol direction suffered terrorist attacks. From the direction of Novolaspa and Starolaspa militants shelled the village fom 122-mm artillery and 120-mm mortars six times.
At 2.20 a.m. the illegal armed units shelled the village of Mykolaivka from tank and 120-mm mortar. Moreover, our positions near Opytne and Maiorsk were attacked by tank.
The Ukrainian army strongholds near Opytne and Vodiane in the Donetsk direction were shelled from 120-mm mortars. From 7 a.m. militants stopped using artillery, though armed provocations with small arms and mortars continued along the entire demarkation line.
In total, from midnight till 6 p.m. invaders used artillery seven times, mortars - 23 times, small arms and grenade launchers - 33 times, tanks - four times. The Ukrainian military responded to provocations with unprohibited weaponry and in line with the Minsk agreements. The ATO forces once again confirm their longing for peace and fully adhere to their commitments.
