USA and Ukraine will jointly produce weapons - White House
The United States and Ukraine signed a Statement of Intent on the joint production and exchange of technical data. They will work to meet the urgent operational needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Today, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Government of the United States held the first day of the American-Ukrainian Defense Industrial Base Conference at the Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. The conference brought together about 350 industry and government representatives from the United States, Ukraine and Europe to focus on significantly increasing weapons production to support Ukraine's fight for freedom against Russian aggression and strengthen Ukraine's long-term self-defense", - the message says.
The production will affect the sphere of air defense systems, repair and technical support and the production of critical ammunition.
The White House stressed that this would strengthen cooperation between the United States and Ukraine and facilitate faster passage of investment agreements through the systems.
The statement says that the governments of the United States and Ukraine together seek to develop a strong Ukrainian military-industrial base that would provide for itself and contribute to the long-term security and economic success of Ukraine.
The initial results of the conference focused on the first steps: the institutionalization of partnership and dialogue between industry and state partners.
