Over 90% of clashes over past 24 hours took place in Avdiivka and Mariinka directions, - Defense Forces

As reported by Censor.NET with reference to Interfax-Ukraine, Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Region, announced this on the air of the national telethon.
"The situation has not changed. The enemy continues to try to move forward. Almost all of his activity is concentrated in the Avdiiv and Marin directions. More than 90% of the clashes over the past day took place there," the spokesman said.
According to him, on Friday, the enemy did not use aviation for strikes, the use of kamikaze drones decreased significantly. "But artillery and infantry units are very actively involved, and also, where it is possible for the enemy, armored vehicles. The enemy is also hitting roads and populated areas with MLRS: it is trying to complicate our logistics," Shtupun said.
He reported that the enemy's attacks were repulsed. "35 attacks in the Avdiivka direction are east of Novobakhmutivka, in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka, Tonenke, and Pervomaiske. And in the Maryinsk direction, our soldiers continue to hold the enemy back. There he attacks near Krasnohorivka, near Mariinka, Peremoha, and Novomykhailivka. 24 attacks were repulsed there during the day," the spokesman informed.
At the same time, he noted that the enemy's activity in the Shakhtarske and Zaporizhzhia directions is low. "All attacks were repulsed. In particular, the enemy tried to restore the lost position west of Verbove," Shtupun said.
