Austrian President signed ratification of Ukraine-EU Association Agreement
President of Austria Heinz Fischer has signed the ratification of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement, Ukraine's ambassador to Austria Oleksandr Scherba tweeted on Friday.
Censor.NET reports citing Oleksandr Scherba's Twitter.
"Despite the vacation, the Austrian president signed the ratification of the Association [Agreement]. What to be done next is the signing by the chancellor and a report in the government newspaper. Danke!" Scherba wrote.
Ukraine receives another IMF tranche
As reported, the EU-Ukraine association agreement was ratified by both chambers of the Austrian parliament earlier in July. The agreement has been fully ratified by 21 out of the 28 members of the EU.
