Odesa resident threw a grenade at his opponent during a conflict

Censor.NET reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Interior of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

The incident occurred in the village of Hradenytsi yesterday at 5:30 p.m.. The two men, the 24-year-old local resident and 45-year-old man from Odesa stoked up the war of words and started a fight. Odesa resident threw an RGD-5 grenade at his opponent during the conflict.

The young man was injured in the explosion and taken to the hospital with penetrating abdominal wounds. The suspect was detained. He will be asked to explain the motives and circumstances of the incident.

A criminal proceeding was opened on the fact of attempted murder. The investigation continues.
