10,000 officials listed in corruptionists registry, PM Yatseniuk says
About 10,000 Ukrainian officials have been listed in the unified state registry of persons who have conducted corruption offenses.
This was announced by Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk on air of "10 minutes with the prime minister" program, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"A unified state registry of persons who conducted corruption offenses has been created in Ukraine. As of now, about 10,000 officials have been listed in it. All information about corrupted activities of such persons is open and can be looked up," he said.
"You can simply get any information about a state official by looking up his or her last name online [in the registry - ed.], including that of his/her assets and fortune," Yatseniuk commented.
