Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in seven directions per day, - General Staff
There were 55 combat engagements over the day. The enemy unsuccessfully attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Kherson region 13 times.
This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
In the area of responsibility of the "North" Operational-Strategic Group (OSG) in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active subversive activities in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the "Khortytsia" Operational-Strategic Group (OSG) in the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 enemy attacks near Synkivka and Petropavlivka of the Kharkiv region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to break through the defenses of our troops.
In the Lyman direction, the occupiers carried out assault operations in the Makiivka area of the Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka and Andriivka of the Donetsk region.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group (OSG) in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to restrain the enemy, who does not stop trying to surround Avdiivka. Our soldiers are steadfastly holding the defense, inflicting significant losses on the occupiers. Thus, during the past day, the Defense Forces repelled 4 enemy attacks in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka and another 14 attacks near Pervomaiske, Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, our defenders continue to restrain the invaders in the Novomykhailivka area of the Donetsk region, where 4 attacks were repelled.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled an enemy attack near Urozhaine of the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 5 enemy attacks near Robotyne and south of Novodarivka of the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational-Strategic Group (OSG) in the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy continues to try to knock our units out of their positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out 13 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of the Defense Forces.
