The Territorial Center for Recruitment (TCR) confirmed that they and the police were tasked with "searching for people who violate the law on mobilization" at checkpoints in the Kyiv region.

This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCR and SS) in response to a request from the UP, Censor.NET reports.

"In order to assist the military command in the introduction and implementation of martial law measures, in accordance with paragraphs 5.4.2. of the protocol of the meeting of the operational headquarters of the Defense Council of Kyiv region of December 18, No. 229, the Main Department of the National Police in Kyiv region, the Patrol Police Department in Kyiv region of the State Enterprise, and the Commandant's Office of Kyiv region were tasked with "to work together to develop and implement additional measures at checkpoints located on international highways within the Kyiv region in order to identify persons who have committed violations of the legislation on defense, mobilization preparation and mobilization or violated the rules of military registration," the response reads.

The TCR and SS stressed that they cooperate with the police and act exclusively within the framework of the current legislation.

The response to the request also states that "measures envisaged by part one of Article 8 of the Law of Ukraine 'On the Legal Regime of Martial Law', namely measures to identify reconnaissance and sabotage groups," are being taken in Kyiv region from December 26, 2023, to January 06, 2024.

However, it is unclear from the response whether the measures to search for violators of the legislation on mobilization at checkpoints are implemented only for the period from December 26 to January 06.
