U.S. will strengthen air defense of Ukraine - Sullivan

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak had a phone conversation with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. The parties agreed to strengthen Ukraine’s air defence.

During the conversation, they discussed the consequences of the recent massive shelling of the territory of Ukraine by the Russian Federation using various types of missile weapons and kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type.

Yermak also expressed his sincere gratitude to the team of U.S. President Joe Biden for all their efforts to ensure that the Congress passes the aid package Ukraine needs as soon as possible.
Mr. Yermak and Mr. Sullivan also coordinated steps to implement the plans for Ukrainian-American cooperation for 2024 in all areas, including national security.
