Construction of fortifications is being strengthened in Sumy region
Work on the construction of fortifications is intensifying in Sumy region.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Censor.NET reports.
According to Volodymyr Artyukh, Head of Sumy Regional State Administration, in the new year the region continues to fulfill the tasks set by the President of Ukraine and the government.
First and foremost, it concerns improving the defense capability and protection of the region's population.
"The main priority set by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief is the construction of fortifications. There has never been a project of the scale that will be implemented this year in Sumy region. The task must be fulfilled and it is the responsibility of every district and community leader," said the head of the region.
Artiukh emphasized that in 2024, as in the past, all measures will be taken to prevent violations of the use of budget funds in the construction of fortifications, to ensure the quality and efficiency of work.
