Exchange of prisoners of war took place with participation of UAE – DIU
The large-scale exchange of prisoners of war took place under the mediation of the United Arab Emirates.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported in an official telegram from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
The statement reads: "After a considerable period of time, we managed to carry out a very difficult exchange. 230 of its defenders returned to Ukraine today, including a combat medic, defenders from Zmiinyi Island (Snake Island -ed. note), from the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, which was captured in the first days of the war, from Azovstal, border guards, police, National Guard, Armed Forces - that is, all categories.
This exchange has been in the works for quite some time. The United Arab Emirates also participated directly in the organization of this process, and with their help, we were able to do it together."
