British Prime Minister Sunak arrives in Kyiv. PHOTOS
On Friday, 12 January, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak arrived in Kyiv for a visit.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Suspilne, citing the American photo agency Getty Images.
First, there were photos of Sunak travelling to Kyiv in a VIP carriage in the company of British Defence Secretary Grant Shepps and Deputy Chief of Defence Staff Gwyn Jenkins.
Later, a photo of the British Prime Minister getting off the presidential train at the capital's Central Railway Station was released.
Later, Sunak posted on social network X that he had arrived in Kyiv.
"I am in Ukraine to deliver a simple message. Our support cannot and will not weaken. I appeal to all Ukrainians, Britain is with you for as long as it takes," the British Prime Minister said.
In Kyiv, Sunak plans to announce an increase in military funding for Ukraine next year to £2.5 billion. This is £200 million more than in the previous two years.
The British Prime Minister and President Zelenskyy will also sign a historic Ukraine-UK security cooperation agreement.
