Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed over 300 occupants and 67 units of enemy equipment in Lyman-Kupiansk direction over last day

Last week, there was an escalation in the Bakhmut direction, which indicates that the enemy is trying to find weaknesses in Ukrainian defense.
According to Censor.NET, Volodymyr Fito, spokesman for the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this on the air of the national telethon "United News".
"The enemy does not stop its attacks in the entire area of responsibility of the "Khortytsia" OSG, Kupiansk and Lyman directions are no exception. Over the last day 17 enemy attacks were repelled in these areas: 3 in the Kupiansk direction and 14 in the Lyman direction after a lull. Combat actions took place in the areas of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region, Petropavlivka and Makiivka in Luhansk region. The enemy conducted 10 air strikes in this area, used 23 kamikaze drones and fired 574 times at the territory with artillery and mortars of various calibers. Nevertheless, our servicemen managed to destroy 304 occupants and there was a "parade" of destroyed equipment of the occupation forces: 67 pieces of military equipment were destroyed, including 11 tanks destroyed or damaged, 9 BMP-2, one BMP-1 and one BMP-3," noted Fito.
He added that this indicates that the enemy is intensifying the use of equipment for offensive actions. At the same time, the enemy did not achieve any significant success in the area of Synkivka, the spokesman said.
"Russians do not give up their attempts to carry out their attacks. They have priority plans - this is Synkivka in order to develop the offensive on Kupiansk, they have the direction of Chasiv Yar, which they also tried to move to. But in their plans they forget one truth: the Defense Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are standing opposite them and multiply these plans by zero," emphasized the spokesman.
Fito also noted that there are about 200 thousand occupants in the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia OSG, and 60-62 thousand occupants in the Bakhmut direction.
