Zelenskyy to Trump: Putin will not stop. Think first - then speak
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy does not believe that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin will stop. Ukraine must continue to fight.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the World Economic Forum in Davos, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
The Head of State reminded that Trump had recently expressed confidence that he could stop Russia's war against Ukraine. To do this, he wants to sit down at the negotiating table with the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
The former American leader also promised to give Ukraine more weapons if dictator Vladimir Putin does not stop, and if Ukraine does not stop, to take away the stockpiles.
In response, Zelenskyy asked the question: what if Ukraine refuses this offer to give up its territories and Trump stops the aid, how will the American leader act in the event of a possible occupation of a NATO country as a result of Ukraine's defeat?
"In other words, he decided that if we don't freeze the conflict, if we allow Putin to fully enter Ukraine, then he will stop. This will not happen. Putin will not stop," he added.
Thus, according to Zelenskyy, if Ukraine loses, Europe will lose the continent's largest and most powerful army.
"And so, I will say this, my father always told me this: "Think first, then speak," the president emphasized.
