SBI: Relative of Ihor Hrynkevych - Roman Hrynkevych is put on wanted list
A member of a criminal group - a close relative of a Lviv businessman exposed on fraudulent purchases of clothing for the Armed Forces of Ukraine - is put on the wanted list
This was reported by SBI spokeswoman Tetiana Sapian on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon "United News", Censor.NET reports with reference to the State Bureau of Investigation's telegram channel.
The report states that the Bureau exposed an organized group on fraudulent purchases of clothing and underwear for the Armed Forces. They caused almost a billion hryvnias in losses to the state budget of Ukraine. Yesterday, 5 members of the group were served a notice of suspicion and detained, but one of them is still in hiding.
"A number of urgent searches were conducted yesterday to find and detain members of the criminal group, including a relative of a Lviv businessman. Unfortunately, he has not been found yet, but he has been served a notice of suspicion of fraud and participation in a criminal group in accordance with the law," said the spokeswoman.
She said that a close relative of the Lviv businessman was put on the wanted list.
"If you know about his place of residence, please inform law enforcement agencies. He has not officially crossed the border," she said.
Earlier it was reported that Lviv businessman Ihor Hrynkevych may be subjected to a preventive measure. He was accused of fraud and participation in a criminal organization.
