Other people will end this war instead of Putin – Sikorski

Putin has passed the point of no return, he is a war criminal. The war in Ukraine on the Russian side is likely to be ended by other people.
This was stated by Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski during the discussion "Russia: What's Next?" in Davos, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.
"Putin has passed the point of no return. Now he is an accused war criminal. And I think that this colonial war will one day be completed by a different team than the one that started it," the Polish minister emphasized.
He noted that colonial wars usually last about ten years. According to him, during this time, the metropolis must come to the conclusion that the decision to start the war was a mistake, that it was not worth the current costs and bloodshed.
"Usually, this decision is made by another team, because the team that started the war can rarely admit a mistake. That's why it takes decades, and this should be our baseline scenario," the diplomat stated.
Addressing the issue of Russian-Chinese relations, Sikorski explained that the two regimes cooperate with each other because they have similar ideologies and act similarly, trying to regain control over what they consider to be "rebellious provinces" that allegedly belong to them. He believes that if Russia defeats Ukraine, China will certainly launch a war against Taiwan.
