UK offers Germany to buy Taurus missiles to supply Kyiv with more of its Storm Shadow missiles

The UK has offered Germany to purchase long-range Taurus cruise missiles, which the Ukrainian side has been asking Berlin for a long time, but without a positive result.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Handelsblatt.
According to the German publication, in turn, London plans to provide Ukraine with additional Storm Shadow missiles.
The publication notes that a suitable way for Berlin to get out of the dilemma over German Taurus missiles has been discussed with the British side and considered for several weeks, and a proposal has been sent. Diplomats and government officials told journalists about this, in particular.
"For months, there has been a heated debate over the delivery of German cruise missiles to Ukraine. Now there is a proposal from the British that could get Chancellor (of Germany Olaf Scholz - ed.) out of trouble," the article says.
