German Armed Forces announce full list of assistance provided to Ukraine, as well as supplies that are still being prepared
Germany has already handed over Leopard 1A5 and Leopard 2 A6 battle tanks, Marder armoured personnel carriers and Dingo infantry fighting vehicles, Gepard anti-aircraft tanks and Panzerhaubitzen 2000 self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, this is evidenced by a list published on the Bundeswehr website.
"Germany supports Ukraine with supplies of equipment and weapons from Bundeswehr warehouses as well as supplies from industry. The type and scope of the material provided is regularly adjusted and expanded in consultation with and in line with the needs of the Ukrainian armed forces."
It is noted that Germany is also helping European countries that have transferred Soviet-era equipment to Ukraine to close the material gaps that have arisen.
Among the items that have already been transferred, in particular:
- 30 Leopard 1A5 main battle tanks and 18 Leopard 2 A6 main battle tanks;
- 90 Marder armoured personnel carriers and 50 Dingo infantry fighting vehicles;
- 16 Wisent 1 demining tanks and 14 Biber bridge-laying tanks;
- 52 Gepard anti-aircraft tanks and 14 Panzerhaubitzen 2000 self-propelled howitzers;
- 69 Bandvagn 206 tracked multipurpose vehicles and 250 Zetros trucks;
- five MARS II multiple launch rocket systems;
- nearly 45,000 155mm shells and 240,000 40mm shells;
- missiles, ammunition and spare parts for the transferred equipment;
- drones, radars, generators, clothing, medical and protective material, diesel fuel and much more.
In addition, two Patriot air defence systems, three Iris-T SLM systems, and hundreds of other vehicles - off-roaders, ambulances, etc.
Germany is currently preparing to ship 9 IRIS-T Infra-Red Imaging System air defence systems and one SKYNEX air defence system. Also:
- 105 Leopard 1A5 main battle tanks;
- 30 Marder infantry fighting vehicles;
- 15 GEPARD anti-aircraft tanks;
- 12 Biber bridge paving tanks;
- more than 250,000 155 mm ammunition;
- almost 260 thousand shells for Gepard;
- other equipment, ammunition, devices and materials.
