Power engineers have managed to supply power to more than 40,000 subscribers who were cut off due to a nighttime Russian drone attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region. About 12 thousand more remain without electricity supply.

This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, Censor.NET reports.

"After the military authorized it, 24,000 consumers were connected at night, and seven mines and industrial facilities that were also cut off as a result of the attack were quickly powered via backup schemes. During the day, power engineers reconnected about 17,000 de-energized customers.

As of 7 p.m., about 12,000 consumers are still without electricity. Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the attack and restore stable power supply in the region," the statement said.
