At Ramstein, there were discussions on strengthening production of shells in Europe - Ministry of Defense

The participants of Ramstein-19 discussed strengthening the production of artillery shells in Europe.
The head of the Press and Information Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Illarion Pavliuk said this during the telethon, Censor.NET reports with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
"This time, we paid special attention to discussing the increase in the production of artillery shells and weapons in general in Europe. This is very important because when we have a war of this magnitude on the European continent, we cannot do without strengthening our own production," he said.
Pavliuk added that Russia is also increasing its weapons production in times of war. However, the total economy of the partner countries and participants in Ramstein is larger than Russia's.
According to the Defense Ministry spokesman, the partner countries once again expressed their continued support for Ukraine during a meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense.
As a reminder, the 19th meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's Defense in the Ramstein format took place yesterday, February 14. It was the first meeting with the participation of the new Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
