Russia should not use the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall to justify the escalation of the war against Ukraine.
This was stated by Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, Censor.NET reports citing Suspilne.
"We always need to be calm and reasonable, even after the horrific terrorist attack in Moscow, and work to avoid escalation," Tajani said at an event in the city of Potenza when asked about a Russian missile violating Polish airspace during the attack on western Ukraine on 24 March.
According to the minister, it is necessary to take into account considerations that "will encourage all parties to be reasonable".
"We must urge Russia not to use the attack (to justify the escalation of the war against Ukraine - Ed.)," Tajani added.
