Occupiers are using reconnaissance drones to compensate absence of A-50 aircraft - OC "South"

Currently, the Russian occupiers are actively using reconnaissance drones in the southern direction, thus trying to compensate for the absence of A-50 long-range radar reconnaissance aircraft.

This was stated by the head of the press centre of the Southern Defence Forces, Natalia Humeniuk, on the air of a national telethon, Censor.NET reports citing UP.

"The enemy is actively using drones, both reconnaissance and attack drones. While yesterday we observed more than 200 reconnaissance drones in our area of responsibility, stretching from Odesa to Zaporizhzhia, this day there were slightly fewer. But the enemy continues to conduct reconnaissance, and it is obvious that they need to compensate for the A-50 in the air in this way," she said.

According to Humeniuk, the enemy is collecting information for future spot missile strikes and massive attacks.

Humeniuk added that the wreckage of the kamikaze drones that flew during the recent attacks shows that the enemy is increasingly manufacturing them on its territory, as they are marked with specific letters of the Russian alphabet.
