High levels of dust pollution persist in Kyiv

Kyiv is experiencing a temporary deterioration in air quality, and citizens are being urged to drink more water and avoid outdoor activities.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration.
"Kyiv continues to experience a temporary deterioration in air quality due to an increase in the concentration of fine dust fraction PM10. It was brought to Ukraine from the Mediterranean along with the heat wave. It is recommended to refrain from walking and ventilating the premises until the situation is normalised," the statement said.
Until the air situation improves, it is additionally recommended to:
- avoid physical activity outdoors;
- drink a lot of water;
- If you have an air purifier, turn it on to maximum.
