Two Defence Forces recruitment centres opened in Kharkiv
On 2 April, two recruitment centres for the Armed Forces of Ukraine were opened in Kharkiv. They will be open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The newly opened recruitment centres offer jobs in units located in Kharkiv and the region, including 302nd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of Kharkiv, 4th Border Guard Detachment, as well as brigades and units of the National Guard.
In addition, civilian recruiters have access to a nationwide job database with thousands of opportunities.
"When we talk about recruitment, we are primarily talking about the opportunity for everyone to come and find out what vacancies are available, what units are available and how they can find themselves. The task of the centres is to help people understand how they can use their previous experience, education and skills in the army. We continue to create an all-Ukrainian network of recruitment centres," said Oleksii Bezhevets, the Defence Ministry's Commissioner for Recruitment.
He also noted that not only men are now actively joining the Defence Forces: "There are currently no restrictions on any position for women. Therefore, we encourage women to come and take an interest. Today, the army is the largest employer in the country with decent salaries and decent benefits. There are many positions where you can find yourself," said the representative of the Ministry of Defence.
