Currently, one of the final stages of training Ukrainian pilots for the F-16 is underway. However, the date of appearance of fighters in Ukraine should not be announced.
The spokesman of the Air Force Illia Yevlash stated this on Radio Svoboda, Censor.NET reports.
"Right now, two groups in Denmark and the USA are directly mastering the F-16. They are honing their skills and practice. The necessary flight hours on these aircraft. Of course, this is now one of the final stages. When exactly will the transfer take place and when exactly will we see the F-16 in the sky, well, it's probably not worth disclosing, so that it would be a certain surprise for the enemy," he noted.
As soon as it is possible to talk about it, the Air Force will inform all Ukrainians about it.
