In the south of Moldova, 500 meters from the border with Ukraine, the debris of a drone was found.

This was reported by the country's Border Police, Censor.NET reports citing LigaBusinessInform.

According to the agency, at about 2:15 p.m., fragments of a drone with the inscription "Geranium-2" on the wing were found near the village of Etulia, Vulcanesti district. The drone debris was found 500 meters from the border with Ukraine.

"The competent authorities immediately arrived at the scene. Access to the area where the drone fragments were found was restricted. Now the drone fragments are being analyzed by experts," the Border Police said.

The Russian army uses the name "Geranium-2" for the Shahed drone.
