Toretsk is under control of Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian troops have not entered city - CMA
The city of Toretsk in the Donetsk region is under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
This was stated by the head of the Toretsk CMA Vasyl Chynchyk, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
"Yes. Unfortunately, the enemy is also waging information warfare, and I confirm that Toretsk remains a free Ukrainian city that is simply suffering from devastating shelling by the aggressor. But the city is free, it is Ukrainian," he said.
According to Chynchyk, the Defense Forces control the city. The information about the alleged entry of Russian troops into the city is disinformation used by the enemy to destabilize the information space and influence opinions among the population that remains in the community and in Ukraine as a whole.
He also added that the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to stop active hostilities that were being advanced by the enemy.
