IMF director Christine Lagarde arrived to Ukraine
Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Christine Lagarde arrived to Kyiv today. The fund manager will discuss the problem of Ukrainian debt with the country's leadership, particularly, with President Poroshenko.
At 6 p.m. on Sunday, Poroshenko and Lagarde will talk to the media near the presidential administration, Censor.NET reports citing the president's press service.The IMF managing director plans a series of meetings with the country's officials, parliamentarians, and leading female figures. Earlier the IMF approved an agreement with the creditors' committee, and called to finalize Kyiv's debt.
IMF: Ukrainian economy shows signs of stabilization
Extended mission of the International Monetary Fund to agree on financial arrangements will arrive to Kyiv on Sept. 22.
