If US cuts aid to Ukraine, I think we will lose, - Zelenskyy
Ukraine may lose if the United States cuts military aid to our country.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with Fox News, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.
During the interview, the journalist asked the president a clarifying question about his recent statements about the possibility of negotiations. This refers to Zelenskyy's interview with Ukrainian Radio, where he said the following words.
"We are an independent country. And during this war, both our people and I personally, in negotiations with the United States, with Trump, Biden, and European leaders, have proved that the rhetoric of ‘sit down and listen’ does not work with us," the president said.
Referring to this context, a Fox News journalist asked Zelenskyy what would happen if the US government cut military aid to Ukraine. The Ukrainian president said that in this case, Ukraine would most likely lose.
"If they will cut, I think we will lose. Of course, anyway, we will stay and we will fight. We have production, but it’s not enough to prevail. And I think it is not enough to survive. But it will be, if such choice will be the American choice, so we will decide what we’ll have to do," Zelenskyy said.
