Sakvarelidze to be appointed prosecutor of Odesa region today
Censor.NET reports citing the administration's press service.
"Sept. 16, 2015, at 4 p.m., Head of the Odesa Regional State Administration Mikheil Saakashvili will hold a briefing on the appointment of Davit Sakvarelidze prosecutor of the Odesa region," the statement reads.
Davit Sakvarelidze was born in Tbilisi on Sept. 15, 1981. He became a key figure in reforming the law enforcement and fighting against crime in Georgia. On Feb. 16, 2015, he was appointed Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine. He is in charge of Ukraine's European integration and prosecutor's office reforming.
