Zelenskyy listened to Syrskyi’s report: We see existing threats in Zaporizhzhia direction, Defense Forces control situation
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy heard a report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi on the situation at the front, in particular on the Kurakhove and Zaporizhzhia directions.
The head of state announced this on Telegram channel, Censor.NET reports.
"The report of the Chief of Staff Syrskyi. A long conversation, all key areas. First of all, Donetsk region. Kurakhove is the most difficult area right now. We are working to strengthen our positions," he said.
In particular, there are threats in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
"Our Ukrainian Defense Forces control the situation. The Kursk operation - our soldiers are defending their positions and inflicting very significant losses on the Russian army. Our task is to destroy the Russian potential in the border area as much as possible," Zelenskyy said.
The President thanked all Ukrainian soldiers, sergeants and officers who ensure the fulfillment of our Ukrainian tasks.
