Nearly 200 combat engagements in frontline over last day. More than 50 in Pokrovsk sector - General Staff
The situation at the front remains difficult. The enemy, using its superiority in manpower and equipment, is continuously attacking our positions. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the onslaught of the occupiers and inflicting maximum losses on the enemy.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, 191 firefights were recorded over the past day.
Shelling of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched five missile attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, using seven missiles, as well as 65 air strikes, dropping 96 GABs. In addition, it fired more than 4,450 times at settlements and positions of our troops, 112 of which were from multiple launch rocket systems, and used about 1,500 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Stepok, Pavlivka, Yablunivka, Mala Rybytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Velykyi Burluk, Pytomnyk, Mali Prokhody, Chervona Zoria, Okip, Slatyne, Kupiansk, Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, Ivanivka, Minkivka, Sloviansk, Hrodivka, Dachne, Bohatyr, Velyka Novosilka, Novyi Komar, and Olhivka.
Hostilities in the east
In the Kharkiv sector, Russian terrorists unsuccessfully stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Vovchansk, Kudiivka and Kozacha Lopan five times. They were actively using bombers and attack aircraft to carry out attacks in the area.
In the Kupyansk sector, 23 attacks took place over the last day. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Novomlynsk, Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Synkivka, Lozova, Kruhliakivka and Zelenyi Hai.
In the Lyman sector, the invaders attacked the positions of our defenders eleven times. They tried to break into our defences near Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Yampolivka and Torske.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked four times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the occupiers stormed the positions of our defenders six times in the areas of Toretsk, Dachne and Shcherbynivka over the past day. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 51 aggressor attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Hryhorivka, Petrivka, Dachne, Pushkine and Pustynka.
Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 46 attacks in the Kurakhove sector. The occupiers were most actively trying to advance near Sontsivka, Berestky, Zoria, Novodmytrivka, Dalne, Kurakhove, Uspenivka, Yelizavetivka and Hannivka.
Situation in the south
In the Vremivsk sector, the enemy made 13 attacks on our positions in the areas of Rivne, Novodarivka, Kostiantynopolske and Sukhi Yaly.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy attacked our defenders' positions near Novoandriivka twice yesterday.
Three times, the invaders tried to force the Defence Forces units out of their positions in the Prydniprovsky sector without success.
Situation in the north
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is actively using artillery and aviation from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
Strikes on the enemy
Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit the area of concentration of personnel, five command and control points and another important enemy object.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1480 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 6 tanks, 20 armoured combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 72 operational and tactical UAVs, a cruise missile, 94 vehicles and 2 pieces of special equipment.
