New $500 million aid package from US: HIMARS ammunition, anti-tank weapons, anti-drone equipment

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announces new $500 million in military aid to Kyiv.
According to Censor.NET, citing Ukrinform, the US State Department reported this.
"This additional assistance, provided as part of previous withdrawals from the Department of Defence stockpile, is estimated at $500 million," Blinken said in a statement.
The package contains:
- ammunition to counter unmanned aerial systems (c-UAS);
- ammunition for HIMARS rocket and artillery systems;
- 155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells;
- High-speed anti-radar missiles (HARMs);
- unmanned aerial systems (UAS);
- Mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles (MRAP).
In addition, as part of this package, Ukraine will receive HMMWV multi-purpose off-road vehicles, tactical passenger vehicles, chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) defense equipment, Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems, TOW missiles, small arms ammunition, grenades, and training equipment, as well as spare parts and auxiliary equipment.
As a reminder, the current US administration is seeking to ensure that Ukraine has a better position on the frontline and at the potential negotiating table to end the war. That is why the Ukrainian Armed Forces have received permission to conduct long-range strikes with US weapons on Russian territory, White House adviser John Kirby said.
