Russian journalists confirmed liquidation of over 83,000 Russian soldiers in Ukraine - BBC

Russian journalists were able to confirm by name the liquidation of at least 83,338 Russian military personnel since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Russian service of the BBC on 13 December.
The largest number of casualties was recorded in Bashkortostan, where 3,487 people died. Of these, 40% went to the front voluntarily.
The journalists note that most of the identified dead were not military personnel at the outbreak of the war. The largest category of casualties is volunteers - 22% of all confirmed deaths.
Another 18 percent of the dead were prisoners sent to the front from colonies, and 12 percent were mobilized.
According to the BBC, Russia has lost 4,467 officers, including eight generals and 486 people with the rank of lieutenant colonel and above.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that approximately 1,390 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine over the past 24 hours. The total losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion amount to about 760,120 people.
