Russian Federation has increased intensity of its offensive in east: Syrskyi’s statement

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that Russian troops have increased the intensity of the offensive in three directions.

He said this during an online speech at the All-Ukrainian Congress of Local and Regional Communities, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"The most difficult situation is now on the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, the enemy has also significantly increased the intensity of offensive actions on the Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremivka directions, where it is trying to break through the defense of our troops, but is not successful," the Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief said.

Syrskyi added that the situation in southern Ukraine is tense but under control.

Earlier, DeepState reported that Russians occupied the town of Hannivka in the Donetsk region. They have made advances near the settlements of Pokrovsk and Volnovakha districts of the region and in the Kursk region.
