Lithuania is ready to strengthen cooperation with Ukraine on military training - Prime Minister

Lithuania has expressed its readiness to expand cooperation with Ukraine in the field of training and education of the Ukrainian military.
This was stated by Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
Paluckas emphasized that cooperation between the two countries covers a wide range of issues, including defense.
"Here we are talking about preparing and training the military for combat operations. To answer your question, Lithuania is ready to expand our cooperation in this area as well," Palutskas said.
This is confirmed by the recent announcement by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine that Ukrainian instructors will be trained in Lithuania in 2025 as part of NATO's Defense Education Enhancement Program (DEEP).
