Japan and UK have provided $1 billion in financial assistance to Ukraine, - Shmyhal

Japan and the United Kingdom have provided financial assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $1 billion.
This was announced on Telegram by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Censor.NET reports.
"The tranche was received under guarantees from the governments of these states under the World Bank's DPL program," he said.
According to Shmyhal, the funds will be used to strengthen Ukraine's economy and finance priority expenditures in the social and humanitarian spheres.
"We are grateful to the World Bank, the governments of Japan and the United Kingdom for their significant support of Ukraine and contribution to strengthening our resilience," he added.
