Power outages are back: Restrictions will be in effect for 13 hours tomorrow - Ukrenergo
On December 26, power restrictions will be introduced in Ukraine for household consumers, as well as for industry and business.
This is stated in the message of Ukrenergo.
Consumption restriction measures will be applied as follows:
for household consumers:
- 08:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. - for one and a half outage schedules
- 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.- one outage schedule.
for industry and business:
- 07:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.- application of power limitation schedules.
As reported, on the night and morning of 25 December, the Russian military carried out the 13th massive missile and drone attack on Ukrainian energy facilities since the beginning of the year. As a result of the damage, consumption restrictions were introduced that will last until the end of the day.
In particular, DTEK's thermal power plants were attacked and their equipment was seriously damaged.
