Russian troops shelled 9 communities in Sumy region, 95 explosions recorded
During the day on December 25, Russian troops fired 20 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. There were 95 explosions recorded.
The situation on the border as of 9:00 p.m. on December 25, 2024, was reported by the Sumy RMA, Censor.NET reports.
As noted, the Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Svesa, Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.
- Esman community: the enemy attacked with mortars (14 explosions), artillery (12 explosions), and an FPV drone (1 explosion).
- Hlukhiv community: an attack with FPV drones (4 explosions).
- Seredyna-Buda community: 5 mines were dropped by Russians on the territory of the community.
- Krasnopillia community: the enemy attacked with mortars (9 explosions).
- Velyka Pysarivka community: artillery shelling (8 explosions), drop of VOG from a UAV (4 explosions).
- Nova Sloboda community: 6 mines were dropped by Russians on the territory of the community.
- Shalyhyne community: an attack by an FPV drone was recorded (1 explosion).
- Svesa community: a grenade launcher attack (29 explosions).
- Yunakivka community: there was an artillery shelling (2 explosions).
