114 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Pokrovsk direction - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., the total number of combat engagements along the entire frontline has increased to 114. The occupiers continue to use aviation, in particular, GABs.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
The occupiers do not stop using artillery and aircraft on the territory of Ukraine. The areas of Oleksandrivka, Potapivka, Porozok, Fotovyzh, Bachivsk, Yanivka, Vovkivka, Seredyna-Buda, Petrushivka, Turia in the Sumy region; Tymonovychi, Popivka, Hremiach, Zarichchia in the Chernihiv region; and Vidrodzhenske in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. According to the available information, the enemy launched air strikes with free-flight rockets near the settlements of Oleksandrivka and Popivka in Sumy region and Hraniv in Kharkiv region.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
Two combat engagements took place in the Kharkiv direction today in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia.
Ukrainian troops repelled six invaders' assaults near Zakhidne, Lozova and Kruhliakivka in the Kupiansk direction, two combat engagements are still ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the enemy is attacking in the areas of Kopanky, Cherneshchyna, Novoserhiivka, Platonivka, Zelenyi Hai, Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Terny, Zarichne, Torske, Serebrianskyi Forest and Hryhorivka. In total, 18 combat engagements have taken place in this sector since the beginning of the day, four of them are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the occupiers attacked three times in the vicinity of Bilohorivka today, and our defenders successfully repelled all attacks.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian troops' positions eight times near Dyliivka and Toretsk, two firefights are still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, fierce fighting is taking place in the areas of Vozdvyzhenka, Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zelene, Dachanske, Novyi Trud, Pishchane, Pokrovsk, Novoolenivka, Shevchenko and Novotroitske. So far, the enemy has made 26 attempts to push our defenders from their positions, 21 attacks have already been repelled by our defenders.
In the Kurakhove direction, 17 firefights continue in the areas of Petropavlivka, Slovianka and Kurakhove. Eleven enemy attacks have already been repelled by our defenders.
In the areas of Yantarne, Vremivka, Kostiantynopil, Novyi Komar, Kostiantynopolske in the Vremivka direction, our defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks, six firefights are ongoing.
Hostilities in the south
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Huliaipole direction.
In the Orikhiv direction, near Novoandriivka, the invaders made one futile attempt to push our defenders from their positions.
In the Prydniprovske direction, our defenders repelled one enemy attack.
AFU operation in Kursk region
Ten combat engagements took place in the Kursk direction today, the enemy dropped nine guided aerial bombs on the areas of populated areas and positions of our defenders, and fired 201 artillery shells, including 13 from multiple launch rocket systems.
