Social support services for servicemen in AFU are staffed by 50%, - General Staff

Social support services for servicemen and their families have already been established at the General Staff, in all branches, services and brigades, and are being formed in medical institutions subordinate to the Medical Forces Command. Such services are staffed by 50%.
This was announced by the head of the Central Department of Civil-Military Cooperation of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Kutkov, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"Today, we continue to create such units directly in medical institutions that are subordinated to the command of the Medical Forces, and finally, these are structural units within the TCR and SS... Staffing in those units where positions have already been introduced... is mostly about 50%," Kutkov said.
The representative of the General Staff reminded that the work has been carried out since October 1 this year. During this period, the first training course for specialists for social support services was held at the Military Institute of Kyiv National University with the involvement of representatives of the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Veterans.
However, the three-day training course proved to be insufficient, so it is planned to extend the training program to 6-7 days. According to the updated program, the course will be held in the new year and representatives of the Armed Forces, who have been engaged in such activities in non-staff units since 2014, will be invited.
