Five captured defenders of Chornobyl NPP returned to Ukraine today - Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources

During the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine on December 30, 5 defenders of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant returned home.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.
It is noted that during the next exchange of prisoners, 189 of our soldiers were returned, including five representatives of the military unit No. 3041, who guarded the Chornobyl nuclear power plant at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. They had been in ruscists captivity for more than two years.
"Unfortunately, 70 Chornobyl NPP defenders are still in captivity. We remember them and will continue to fight for each of them. I wish everyone who has returned home happy holidays and successful rehabilitation. I thank everyone who is making efforts to free our heroes," said Svitlana Hrynchuk, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
On Monday, December 30, 189 citizens were released and returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity.
