Situation in Chasiv Yar remains difficult, enemy is storming every day - 24th SMB

military about situation in Chasiv Yar

In the Chasiv Yar sector, the enemy reduced the intensity of shelling with KABs, but not with artillery and drones.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Andrii Polukhin, a spokesman for the press service of the 24th SMB named after King Danylo, on Espreso.

"At the moment, the situation remains difficult, the enemy is storming every day, trying to take our positions under its infantry force, in addition, it has not abandoned its attempts to penetrate the positions of our fighters to accumulate in some ruins in the rear. However, none of his tactics - neither assaults nor these things with small infantry groups - are successful, the front line still runs along the Siversky Donets-Donbas canal and the enemy has no tactical or strategic success in our direction," the military said.

According to Polukhin, due to the difficulty of the landscape, Russians use little military equipment. In particular, because they need to cross the Siverskyi Donets-Donbas canal.

"And that's why they need to first get through the ruins of the Kanal neighborhood to this particular canal, then cross it, because there are no crossings that can be safely crossed by vehicles. Then they have to make stops - I can't even imagine how they can actually do that. And most of the vehicles that drive to the canal are destroyed on the approaches. In addition to being destroyed by drones on the approaches, the minefields that our guys are setting up are also working very well," said the 24th Brigade's press service representative.

The day before, the military said that Chasiv Yar and Toretsk are very hot spots, but not the hottest ones.
