Russians fire cluster munitions at Ukrainian energy sector to cause maximum damage - Halushchenko

During the recent shelling of the Ukrainian power system, Russians used cluster munitions to inflict maximum damage.
This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"Over the past month, four massive attacks on the power grid have been carried out using all types of weapons. We can see that the tactics of these attacks have changed, the Russians usually use weapons with cluster munitions to cause maximum damage to the power system. But it works," Halushchenko said.
He also added that the stability of the Ukrainian power system is ensured by the repair campaign, during which power engineers managed to restore part of the capacity of more than 9 GW lost.
"Thanks to the repair campaign, we have managed to restore a certain amount of the 9 lost gigawatts. I won't name the figures, but the key thing is that the system is now balanced," Halushchenko emphasized.
