Zelenskyy: Number of AWOLs has been decreasing since autumn

Zelenskyy

The number of cases of unauthorised abandonment of units (AWOL) by servicemen has decreased.

This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Censor.NET reports with reference to Interfax-Ukraine.

"The AWOL increased in 2024, and since October or September it has decreased. This is a fact. A long war is a long war. People are standing and people are getting tired... They are tired everywhere. The question is the percentage of tired people in the entire army," Zelenskyy said.

According to the president, rotations are carried out at the expense of reserves, and there are "not so many of them, because not everything has arrived to fill the reserves."
