Russia is actively attacking at Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Vremivka directions. Ukraine’s General Staff: 138 combat engagements over last day
Over the past 24 hours, 138 combat clashes between Ukrainian defenders and Russian invaders were recorded.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian strikes
According to the updated information, yesterday the enemy launched two missile and 52 air strikes against the positions of Ukrainian units and localities, including two missiles and 102 GABs. In addition, it fired over 3,800 shells, including 159 from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular in the areas of Taratutyne, Pokrovka, Vovchansk, Zolochiv, Ivanivka, Pishchane, Bohuslavka, Zelenyi Hai, Cherneshchyna, Myrne, Siversk, Dronivka, Pazeno, Kostiantynivka, Yablunivka, Myrnohrad, Novotoretske, Ulakly, Kostiantynopil, Andriivka, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Prymorske and Malokaterynivka.
Strikes on ruscists
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, two command posts and three other important enemy targets.
Hostilities in the east
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy twice tried to storm the positions of our troops near Vovchansk. He was rebuffed.
Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Zakhidne, Dvorichna and Kruhliakivka in the Kupyansk sector, where four occupiers' attacks took place over the last day.
The enemy attacked 16 times in the Lyman sector yesterday. They tried to penetrate our defences near Nadiia, Makiivka, Terny, Hryhorivka and in Serebrianskyi forest.
One enemy attack was repelled by our defenders near Bilohorivka in the Siverskyi sector.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked four times in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Stupochky.
The enemy carried out six attacks in the Toretsk sector near the settlements of Toretsk, New York and Shcherbynivka. The enemy directed most of the attacks at Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 38 aggressor attacks in the areas of Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Novyi Trud, Pishchane, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Solone and Novovasylivka.
Ukrainian defence forces repelled 27 enemy attacks in the Kurakhove sector. The occupiers were most actively trying to advance near Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Shevchenko, Dachne and Kurakhove.
In the Vremivka sector, the enemy made 24 attacks on our positions in the areas of Yantarne, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka and in the direction of Kostiantynopil, Rozlyv and Novosilka.
Situation in the south and north
In the Orikhivsk sector, our troops repelled two enemy attacks near Novoandriivka.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, our troops repelled three enemy attacks, the enemy was not successful.
Ten combat engagements took place in the Kursk sector yesterday, the enemy carried out six air strikes, using nine guided aerial bombs.
There were no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
Losses of Russian occupiers
Our soldiers are inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and are actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,080 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralised one tank, 14 armoured combat vehicles, three artillery systems, one MLRS, 49 operational and tactical UAVs and 41 units of occupation vehicles.
