The operational situation in the Kharkiv sector has not changed significantly and remains difficult. Ukraine's defense forces continue to hold back the onslaught of Russian occupation forces.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the OTG "Kharkiv".
On January 1, the Russian occupiers carried out 10 air strikes using 16 KABs, 22 GAMs, as well as 40 strikes by kamikaze drones. They fired 320 times at the positions of Ukraine's defenders.
"The defense forces adequately respond to the enemy's actions and continue to effectively destroy the manpower, weapons, and military equipment of the Russian occupiers.
The enemy's losses over the past day amounted to 78 creatures, of which 30 were irreversible, 48 were sanitary," the statement said.
Over the past day in the Kharkiv sector, the Russians lost 42 units of weapons and military equipment destroyed or damaged, including:
- 1 armored combat vehicle
- 2 artillery systems;
- 8 vehicles;
- 4 units of special equipment;
- 27 UAVs.
Destroyed:
- 52 shelters for personnel;
- 1 UAV launch position;
- 2 places of ammunition storage.
