Enemy in east is trying to control logistics channels, cut off supplies to our forces, - Head of Communications Department of 48th separate artillery brigade Petrenko
In the Vremivka direction, the main task of the occupying Russian troops is to disrupt the logistics routes of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
According to Censor.NET, this was stated by Bohdan Petrenko, head of the communications department of the 48th separate artillery brigade, during a telethon.
"Lately, the main task of the Russians has been to control logistics channels, attempts to cut off supplies to our forces, which are on the Kurakhove direction, the Kurakhiv road, on the one hand, and those in Velyka Novosilka, on the other," said Bohdan Petrenko.
He emphasised that these attempts have been going on for quite a long period of time, and this indicates that the Defence Forces are putting up a serious resistance to the occupiers.
"But the Russians do not give up trying, sometimes the Russian infantry simply steps over the remains of their predecessors. And they actually become predecessors for those who follow them. That is, there is quite a strong fire impact from our side," added the spokesman.
Bohdan Petrenko said that one of the traditional tactics of the Russians is small tactical groups. The infantry enters grey areas and tries to advance to our positions.
"However, at all stages of their movement, they are monitored and fire is used to destroy the Russians," he concluded.
